Meeting Minutes September 9, 2019
Attended: Mark Winrod, Paula Winrod, Andrew Winter, Joseph Fundale, Karen Gingrich, Louise Reed, DJ Kish
Meeting called to order: 1915
Meeting Minutes from August 12, 2019:
- Deferred until next meeting
Financial Report: Current balance $24, 163.81
- Pepsi bill 431113.39 – sent online and paid
- Money has not been transferred to uniform account
- Correction – insurance payment listed twice, only paid once
- Motion to approve report by Karen Gingrich, second by DJ Kish; motion carried
Music Director Report:
- Proofs of programs for Cavalcade – ordering 250
- Locked out of judge payment system – will need to write individual checks
- Reviewed traffic control and parking for Cavalcade
- 8th grade night is 9/28 – will have pizza
- Homecoming is 10/11 – Norton competition cancelled
- Senior night is 10/25
Fundraisers:
- Sausage and cheese fundraiser currently going on
- Auction planned for November 16, 2019
- Band swag store online – will be a small fundraiser
Old Business:
- Discussed requirements for trailer and utility vehicle – one price for a trailer was $2100.00; will need to wait until spring after monies from Cavalcade and basketball concessions in account; will continue to price
New Business:
- An endowment fund is being set up in Mr. C’s name – will cover cost of T-shirts and other costs of parade; will now only be able to order shirts online – details still being worked out
- Six hundred t-shirts have been ordered to sell at Cavalcade – will sell for $12.00/each
