Meeting Minutes from July 10, 2023
Attended: Mark Winrod, Paula Winrod, Dave Drogell, Linda Drogell, Kent Davis, Kathie Davis, Andrew Winter, Chase Favalon, Jason Popiel, Courtney Popiel & April Percy
Meeting called to order: 7:00 p.m.
Meeting Minutes for June 12, 2023: Reviewed, approved
Treasurer’s Report provided by Kent Davis:
* Financial Statement of Activity through July 10, 2023 & Report of
Expenditures by Vendor Summary, Statement of Financial Position, and list of missing receipts was provided, approved
* Kent said that Charms has been bought out by CutTime
* Mr. Favalon indicated that Canva needs to be cancelled
Music Director’s Report:
* Mr. Winter announced Band Camp starts next week
* Thanks to Dave Drogell and those that helped out with the 4th of July parade
* Truck battery needed replaced, it was dead when Winter and Drogell went to pick up truck and trailer for parade.
* Mr. Winter said that he’s looking forward to another good season. Mr. Favalon is officially full time so Winter will be full time in the high school and Favalon will be full time in the middle school.
Fundraisers:
* No new Florida Trip updates, per April.
* Paula said next Cavalcade planning meeting to be held August 14.
* Dave Drogell indicated that Smith Road is scheduled to be open to public right before the Fair opens. * April announced November 11, 2023 is CMA Dinner and Basket Auction.
Old Business:
* Mr. Winter said his wife is willing to decal the new drink hawker trays for the Fair. * April to send another email for Fair volunteers.
* Paula and Mark said volunteer tickets have been ordered, popcorn & candy have been ordered and Pepsi has been contacted for Fair.
* Need updated price signs for Fair, April to print 10. Paula said no need to laminate, just place into sheet protectors.
* Mark indicated that the Health Dept. Permit and Tent Permit have been completed for the Fair. April asked for copies to reference next year.
New Business:
* Cavalcade Planning Meeting scheduled for August 14 at 7:00 p.m., CMA Meeting before at 6:30 p.m. * Jason Popiel updated us on progress of Chaperone/Volunteer shirts/jerseys, will have examples @ next meeting.
* April to email or call those that showed interest on forms as Chaperones and Equipment Helpers to schedule a brief meeting. April also to send out info. on how to get Level 2 approved.
