7:00pm Jeff Schreiber called the meeting to order.
In attendance: Jeff Schreiber, Kim Schreiber, Kathy Kindall, Michelle Cox, Sue Newport, Dave Robbins, Wayne Scott, Chip Jenkins, Kent Davis, Kyle Schreiber, Lora Fetzer, Joe Fetzer, Ed Gross, Crystal James, Donna Ditch.
· Minutes from the December 2008 meeting were read by Dave Robbins. Motion to accept minutes was given by Lora Fetzer, second by Sue Newport.
· Treasurer’s financial report - was read by Kathy Kindall. After some discussion about a few outstanding bills, motion to accept report was given by Lora Fetzer, 2nd by Dave Robbins.
· Website – Brian is still working on developing the new website. New site address is www.CloverleafMusic.org
· Swing Dance – Planned for March 7, 2009. Kim Schreiber and Patty Arko needs some people to help on the committee to plan it. Anyone interested in helping please contact Kim or Patty.
· Winter Guard – Fundraising show is 1/17. $5 per person for pizza, salad, and drink. Winter Guard will do this show. The flyer is on the website. Please come and enjoy the show.
· Upcoming events –
o Sun. Jan 25 at 4:00pm: Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony II at Severance Hall
o Thurs. Feb 5 at 7:00pm: Intermediate Elementary Vocal Concert
o Sat. Feb 7: High School Solo Ensemble contest at Springfield
o Thurs. Feb 12: 9th grade concert/ Jazz band playing
o Tues. Feb 24: High School concert
o Practices will be beginning soon for Honors Band.
· Fundraisers – There will be a Malley’s fundraiser in the spring. Gift Cents is another possible fundraiser.
· Indoor concessions – Still need volunteers to work concessions or make sloppy joes for several basketball games and wrestling matches. Contact Michelle Cox at 330-887-5440 to volunteer.
· 2009 Election results – Jeff Schreiber is President, Donna Ditch is Recording Secretary
New Business:
· Deep freezer was donated to the Music Associates, but need a place to keep it, and also need to pick it up. Jeff volunteered to take it and put it in his garage.
· Suggestion for possible fundraiser was to work the Rally in the Alley in Medina this summer.
· Another suggestion for a fundraiser was to sell hot dogs at Buehlers. Sign up to do this is in March. Crystal James was going to sign us up for it and determine availability of dates.
· We will be working the Lodi Sweet Corn Festival again this year. It’s July 15, 16, 17, 18.
