Meeting called to order: 7:02 p.m.
Meeting Minutes for March 14, 2022: Reviewed, approved
Financial Report:
* Financial Statement of Activity by Class from July 1, 2021 – April 11, 2022 was Provided
* Motion to approve made by Andrew Winter, seconded by Linda Drogell; motion carried
Music Director’s Report:
* Indoor Percussion State Champions, special Thank You to Tina Bundy for assisting * Winter Guard 2nd Place
* Upcoming performances: Arts Expo, Band-O-Rama Concert May 9, Jazz Band & 8th Graders to Cedar Point May 14, Memorial Day Parades (Westfield & Seville) May 30 * Upcoming Marching Band Parent Meeting (both new and veteran) May 5
Fundraisers:
* No fundraiser planning at this time
Old Business:
* School Board agreed to reimburse CMA for ½ of the extra day expenses incurred on the Florida trip
* Parents of students that attended the Florida trip were asked to reimburse the CMA $50/traveler.
* Cavalcade scheduled for September 10, 2022, need to start planning and training new people to undertake this event in 2023
New Business:
* New Camera for the Band Trailer, install while in for repairs, Andrew Winter received total quote of $852
* Selling Concessions for One Act Play, May 7, 2022 – just candy & drinks, no popcorn, will send out Charms sign-up
* Mark Winrod suggested that we use up the soda after concessions so it doesn’t expire * Need to do a CMA Membership drive at Marching Band Parent Meeting, Andrew Winter asked for ideas/suggestions – possibly a parent questionnaire, asking areas of interest
* Need parents to shadow Paula for learning fundraisers
